Semiannual Report to Chief Judge, Court of Appeals.

In October 2003, the Task Force to Review the Laws, Practices, and Procedures Governing Bondsmen and Bail Bonds was created by the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals. The Task Force will analyze the bail bond system from acceptance to satisfaction or forfeiture, and recommend ways to improve it. Procedures to facilitate monitoring and ensure compliance with law, rules, and regulations also will be drafted by the Task Force.
